The Dodge County Snowmobile Trail season
officially begins December 1st and ends March 31st. The snowmobile
trails can be opened during the snowmobile trail season provided there is
sufficient snow base and the trails are all cleared and signed.
Please return to this site for status and condition updates prior to
riding the trails. Changing trail conditions are updated on this
site Monday through Friday. Contact the 24-hour trail conditions
line at (920) 386-3705 for updates seven days per week as needed.

The
Dodge County ATV Trail season officially begins December 1st and ends
March 31st. The ATV trail on the Wild Goose State Trail can be
opened during the ATV season provided that there is sufficient ground
freeze or snow base to prevent damage to the trail surface. Please
return to this site for status and condition updates prior to riding the
trails. Changing trail conditions are updated on this site Monday
through Friday. Contact the 24-hour trail conditions line at
(920) 386-3705 for updates seven days per week as needed.

Snowmobile Operation in
Wisconsin
Anyone born on
or after
1/1/85 and who
has reached the age of 12, must have completed and received a
snowmobile safety certificate in order to operate a snowmobile in
Wisconsin. The certificate must be carried while operating the
snowmobile, and displayed to a law enforcement officer upon demand.
No person under the
age of 12 years may operate a snowmobile unless the person is
accompanied either by a parent or guardian or by a person over 18
years of age. Accompanied means to be on the same snowmobile as the
operator.
Snowmobile Trail Pass
Wisconsin law requires those who use Wisconsin snowmobile trails to
display either Wisconsin registration or a snowmobile trail pass.
Funds from this program will be designated for use as trail aids and
related costs to enhance all Wisconsin snowmobile recreation.

All
Terrain Vehicle Operation in Wisconsin
All
operators
at least age 12 and born on or
after
Jan. 1, 1988 must complete
an ATV Safety Certification course in order to operate on public ATV
trails and areas in Wisconsin.
Wisconsin law requires those who use
Wisconsin ATV trails to display either Wisconsin registration or an
ATV trail pass. Funds from this program will be designated for use
as trail aids and related costs to enhance all Wisconsin ATV
recreation. The trail pass may be purchased over the counter at many
authorized sales locations.
